AIKEN,SC (WACH) -- A moped driver was injured after being hit by a car Friday night.

The accident happened on Whiskey Road just south of Tractor Supply Company, when a gold sedan hit the moped and caused the driver to lose control.

The driver of the moped was transported to Georgia Health Sciences University, with non life threatening injuries.

The driver of the gold sedan has not been identified.

Officials are looking for anyone with information who witnessed the accident, to call Aiken Public Safety @ 803-642-7620.
