ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) – The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are looking for a 32-year-old Summerville man they say was involved in a fatal shooting last night.

Major Rene Williams said "Deputies were notified of a shooting incident on Peach Shed Road in the Orangeburg County town of Vance at 10:46 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they observed the 50-year-old victim lying on his stomach suffering from a gunshot wound. Our investigation indicates the victim and Demetrice Dwight Perry were arguing when Perry fired a handgun at the victim’s abdomen and fled the scene.”
