Lexington County (WACH) - Two 20-year-old Lexington men were arrested around 1 p.m. Wednesday for stealing scrap metal.

Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department arrested Dane Prescott Bolland and Aaron Mitchell Eagerton on a charge of petit larceny.

According to Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts, the men are accused of stealing steel beams and steel trusses worth a combined total of $300 from outside a home on Shore Road near Gilbert.

Both men were released from the Lexington County Dentention center today after posting bond.
