OREGON (WACH)—On Good Day Columbia this morning, the cast introduced viewers to Walter, a cat that the Oregon Humane Society says is “too big.” At 28 pounds, he is the biggest cat they have ever seen. So big, in fact, when some gives Walter his forever home, they will also provide a bag of low calorie cat food and a laser pointer for exercise.
According to the Oregon Humane Societies website, 7 year old Walter will require daily exercise to get him back to being a “slim kitty.” Walter has lived with adults, and will do well in an environment where his space is respected.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. For more information on Walter, check out their website.
