(WACH) -- Two of the juveniles accused in the June beating of 18-year-old Carter Strange in Columbia's Five Points pleaded guilty for their roles in the crime Thursday.

The 16 and 17-year-old boys pled guilty to misprision of a felony.  Investigators say the two boys, along with the additional two who pled guilty earlier this week, did not participate in the actual physical assault.  Instead, they waited at their cars until the beating was over. 

The teens admitted 19-year-old Tyheem Henry and 16-year-old Yahquann Gantt are the alleged ringleaders in the attack.

All four will be sentenced for failing to timely report the attack to officials.  They will remain on house arrest until sentencing takes place in family court.

Columbia police say Strange was attacked by a total of eight suspects in a parking lot on the 1900 block of Blossom Street.

Surveillance video captured the young suspects involved in the beating that prompted emergency brain surgery for Strange.

Columbia City Council also passed a teen curfew ordinance for the Five Points area because of the incident.

The curfew is in effect from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. for those 16 and younger and applies to Five Points, Maxcy Gregg Park, and Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
