COLUMBIA (WACH) --More than a thousand women gathered at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center Saturday to learn about keeping a healthy heart.
The fourth annual "Women at Heart" forum provided women with key information about how to live a healthy life.
Vendors were on hand teaching healthy eating habits, giving free massages, Zumba and belly dancing.
"We're teaching life-saving information how to recognize signs and warning symptoms of stroke, what to do if you feel like you're having a stroke or a heart event, and really helping women understand that just a few changes can really help them save their lives," says Tiffany Sullivan, Palmetto Health.
The event included question and answer sessions with doctors.
Women at Heart was sponsored by Palmetto Health.
