SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Michele Bachmann is launching three days of South Carolina campaigning fresh off an Iowa straw poll win as she works to build support in this key early primary state.

Bachmann will hold town halls and rallies around the state beginning Tuesday at stops that include Spartanburg, Greenville, Columbia and Myrtle Beach.

The Minnesota Republican will be sharing the state this week with Texas Gov. Rick Perry after he entered the race on Saturday during a stop in Charleston.

Perry will be the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for the state Republican Party as it raises cash for the 2012 primary.
