GREENVILLE, S.C. (WACH, WHNS) -- More rain and thunderstorms are expected across South Carolina on Friday.
Storms on Thursday evening left about 6,000 homes without power. Hardest hit areas were near Spartanburg and Greenville.
Emergency officials in the western Carolinas got calls about property damage and blocked roads after a series of powerful thunderstorms swept through the area Thursday.
There were no reports of injuries caused by Thursday night's storms.
