COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is scheduled to make an economic development announcement in Greenville.

Haley's office said she'll make the announcement on Greenville's North Main Street Wednesday afternoon.

Haley has made a series of economic development announcements around the state, from Wal-Mart to Michelin.

Some of those announcements came as Haley defended her opposition to a sales tax collection break for online retailer Amazon.com that initially failed in the House last month. The House reversed itself and sent the Amazon proposal to the Senate last week.
