COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Gov. Nikki Haley was updated by each of the state's agencies Tuesday morning.
Each agency reported on customer service and employee morale.
The commerce department says nearly 2,000 jobs have been added to the state's economy since last month's Cabinet meeting.
The Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, or DAODAS, will complete its move to the Department of Mental Health this week. The move will save the state $700,000 over the next five years.
Also, the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations fired 90 people under its new agency head to help run more efficiently.
This was Haley's third Cabinet meeting since being sworn in.
