COLUMBIA (WACH) - Business owners and tenants along Columbia's Main Street are beginning to take advantage of a facade program launched by the city March 8th.
The Commercial Facade Improvement Program allows businesses to apply for up to $20,000 in loans. The money can be used to dress up the appearance of businesses along Main Street.
Vice President of Retail Recruitment at the City Center Partnership Amy Stone says it's too early to say how many people have taken advantage of this program.
"People are continuing to request applications. The review committee will meet on an as needed basis once packages are completed and returned."
