COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A complex weather system is finally moving out of the Midlands.  This cold front, which the SkyWACH Weather Team has been watching for over a week has brought everything from tornados, to flooding, to snow across the country.  For a while, there was a great deal of concern here for damaging winds and flash flooding.  However, this did not happen for the Midlands as the system was moving to slow for all the ingrediants to come together.

As this cold front moves through, high pressure will move in behind it and bring gorgeous weather for your weekend!  Friday we`ll see some lingering clouds, but by late Friday afternoon a clear sky will takeover and last through most of the weekend.  Highs behind the front on Friday will be in the lower 60s, but with southerly winds returning Saturday we`ll see temperatures return to the low to mid 70s!

On a side note, remember to set your clocks one hour ahead before you go to bed on Saturday.  Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
