COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Midlands American Idol fans have made the show number one - again!

Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez brought the popular talent competition back last week with rave reviews and record ratings with over 25 million viewers.

According to Nielsen weekly ratings, FOX was once again in the lead when Idol airs.

The Wednesday version of Idol topped NCIS, Criminal Minds, the Pro Bowl and Harry's Law.

American Idol airs on WACH Fox Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m.
