Suspect wanted in one of three Aiken armed robberies

AIKEN (WACH) -- A man is wanted in connection to one of three armed robberies that took place in Aiken within a twenty-four hour period.

The first happened on Williamsburg Street in Aiken in which a man attempted to steal the victims tax return.  

The second incident took place on Hampton Ave where investigators say a man was robbed at gunpoint by two men. The suspects took off with a cell phone and cash. Police say the victim in this case identified twenty year old Marquis Devin Hicks as one of the suspects.  Warrants have been issued for Armed Robbery, Assault and Battery 1st Degree and Possession of a Weapon during a violent crime.   Mr. Hicks is still at large.

The third armed robbery occurred at the Huddle House on Richland Avenue. A man with a camo jacket armed with a rusty rifle took the register till and fled the store.  Anyone with information about any of these robberies is asked to contact the Aiken Department of

cash reward of between $50 and $1000.
