COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Governor-Elect Nikki Haley announced her sixth Cabinet appointee Wednesday.

James Etter will lead the state's revenue department.

Etter is the Vice President and CFO of Norco Equipment, a forestry equipment manufacturer.

He will replace Ray Stevens who announced he would be leaving the department last month.

“We’ve always said we wanted strong people on our team who know what it’s like to be on the other side of the red tape,” Haley said. “That’s exactly what we get with Jim Etter. He has invaluable experience, having been involved in every aspect of accounting, and knows what it takes to keep businesses in compliance while also keeping them strong and growing.”
