COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Twenty one percent of families in Columbia can't afford to eat on a regular basis, but now you have a chance to lower that number.
Walmart is giving $1 million to the city with the most likes on Facebook in the Fighting Hunger Together campaign. They'll also give $100,000 to the next five communities.
After five days, Columbia is still holding down 3rd place.
The Capital City's page has over 330,000 likes and is gaining fast. Why not make it one more?

LoudDoor, a local social media firm, has been working to promote the campaign to see that Columbia stays at the top of the list.
CEO Jeff French says that he's heard the Mormon Church has become very active as well as Fresno TV stations, who's city's are both over 70,000 likes.
French adds that they're working to get other South Carolina cities in the running for runner up awards.
LoudDoor is giving away prizes to encourage people to like the pages. Find out more here.
The contest closes on December 31. Don't forget to spread the word.
The winner will be announced on January 5. Prizes from LoudDoor will be drawn on January 3.
