USC hosting US-China business conference

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The University of South Carolina is hosting a conference to talk about business relationships between the United States and China.
The university's Confucius Institute and Darla Moore School of Business are teaming up Monday for the one-day meeting in Columbia.
The public is invited to the free event.
Scheduled speakers include Jack Ellenberg from the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Guihua Chen from the U.S. Embassy of the People's Republic of China and Hal Johnson, president and CEO of the South Carolina Upstate Alliance.
Panel discussions are focusing on the global economy, strategy and innovation and meeting educational demands.
