COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Democratic gubernatorial candidate Vincent Sheheen is running his first ad leading up to the general election in November.

The ad, called "Crossroads" says Sheheen is the candidate for South Carolina and that his opponent Nikki Haley is more of the same.

"I stood up against Governor Mark Sanford," Sheheen says in the 30 second ad.  "Nikki Haley says she wants to follow in his footsteps.  I say this time, we need a governor we can trust."

Haley released her first ad, titled "Movement earlier this week.
