MANNING (WACH) -- Investigators in Manning say they've received several tips that may lead them to a suspect involved in a vicious beating last week.

Former Clarendon County Council Clerk Betty Pritchard was assaulted while she was packing her office belongings just days before she was set to retire.

Seventy-year-old Pritchard was left unconscious after the attack for around four hours before she awoke to call 911.  She continues to recover from a broken arm and lost fingertip

Officials have released a sketch of what the suspect may look like.
