COLUMBIA (WACH) - Some Midlands youngsters could be future Donald Trumps.

They're spending part of their summer vacation learning how to be entrepreneurs.

Waste Management teamed up with the group Youth Entrepreneurship to host the camp for Richland One Middle schoolers.

Organizers say the kids in attendance are learning how to run a business.

"One student was quoted as saying he wished the camp went for four weeks instead of three, so that makes any instructors' heart melt," said Paul Smith, Newberry College Business Professor.  "My overriding goal was a child cannot make a mistake, then they cannot make anything."

The camp wrapped up Wednesday with some competition.  Groups presented a business plan at the Darla Moore School of Business at USC.
