CHARLESTON (AP) -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley is campaigning on the South Carolina coast with some big political names.

Haley has appearances Friday in Charleston and Hilton Head with former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann, former South Carolina first lady Jenny Sanford and state Attorney General Henry McMaster.

McMaster, who finished third in last week's GOP primary, endorsed Haley earlier this week. Romney and Sanford endorsed Haley before the primary.

Haley faces U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett in next week's GOP gubernatorial runoff.

Her Charleston appearance is listed as a campaign event, while the Hilton Head stop is a fundraiser.
