The memorial service for a Fort Jackson soldier who died Thursday is set for early next week.

23-year-old Specialist Christopher Hogg was stationed at Fort Jackson when he developed a fever and breathing problems on September 3rd.

According to base officials, doctors have not determined the cause of death yet.

This marks the second recent death at Fort Jackson.
