Sumter Police officers are saying 21-year-old Reginald Gass is responsible for the death of Carlos Lincoln.

Investigators say the two got into an argument, but it quickly turned physical.

During the argument, officers say Gass hit Lincoln in the chest with a gardening hoe.

Investigators arrested Gass a couple of blocks away from where the alleged attack took place.  He is being charged with murder, and the case remains under investigation.
