USC's Bradley, Jr. earns All-American honors

Columbia, S.C. - South Carolina outfielder Jackie Bradley, Jr. has been named to Louisville Slugger's 2009 Freshman All-American Team as announced by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper on Wednesday morning.
Bradley made a solid first impression during his inaugural season with the Gamecocks batting .349 with 11 HR and 46 RBI . He played in all 63 games on the year with 61 starts. Bradley ended
the season on a high note as well with a productive NCAA Regional in Greenville, N.C. going 9-for-18 on the weekend with a pair of homers and eight runs scored.
Bradley's 89 hits on the year is also a Gamecock record for hits by a freshman in a single season. Also a member of the SEC All-Freshman team, Bradley led the team in runs scored with 69 and added 11 doubles and two triples as well. He finished the year with a .537 slugging percentage and a .431 on-base percentage. Bradley was 8-for-10 in stolen bases.
