KERSHAW COUNTY, SC -- A person is dead after an early morning accident in Kershaw County.

The victim was driving a 1999 Chevorlet when it ran off the road Saturday, then overcorrected, hitting several trees.

The driver was ejected from the car and airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland where the person later died.
