SUMTER, SC -- (WACH)  The Sumter Item reports that a 19-month old baby has died after being shot Friday night while his dad was holding him.

Both, Cabrall Archie, Sr. and his son,  were critically injured while standing outside their home on Carver Street Friday night.  An argument between Archie and  an unknown man turned chaotic and the man pulled a gun and began shooting. 

Both were taken to a Columbia hospital where Baby Archie reportedly died Monday afternoon. 

Authorities are still looking for the gunman and anyone with information about the shootings should contact the Sumter Police or CrimeSTOPPERS at 888 Crime SC.
