A man is in jail after officers say he failed to pay child support.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department and the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services arrested 36-year-old Christopher Addy of Saluda for not paying more than $14,000 in child support.

He is in the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a hearing on his case in family court.
