Police in Georgetown County have made another arrest in a hostage situation that happened on Saturday. Sunday, police arrested 40 year old Robert Richardson, Jr. of Andrews.
Saturday, they arrested two men and a juvenile.
Richardson, Matthew Cobb, 18, Rondell Carter, 30, and a 16 year old are all charged with assault and battery with intent to kill, first degree burglary and kidnapping.
Police say a clerk at a convenience store called 9-1-1 Saturday, after a man came in saying carter had been holding him hostage.
Police say after they arrested Carter, they learned two women were being held hostage by the other men at a home in the Rose Hill community.
At the home, police found one woman who had been shot. Her condition has not been released.
Inside the home, the swat team found a second woman unharmed, and they arrested Cobb and the juvenile.
Investigators believe the suspects were trying to get ransom money.
