A man is recovering after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. 

It happened around 6 pm Friday night at the River Trace Apartments.

Police say two men were holding a gun but dropped it.  The weapon went off, hitting one of the men in the head.

The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Police are still investigating.
