Several Counties Offer Weekend Voting

Some Counties Hold Weekend Absentee Voting Hours
COLUMBIA, S.C. (October 28, 2008) – To accommodate the record number of absentee voters, many counties throughout the state are holding special weekend absentee voting hours. Voters should check locally for information on weekend hours of counties not listed here.
Aiken: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Anderson: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Beaufort: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Berkeley: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Calhoun: No Weekend Hours
Charleston: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Clarendon: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Colleton: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Dorchester: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Fairfield: No Weekend Hours
Florence: No Weekend Hours
Greenville: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Greenwood: No Weekend Hours
Hampton: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Horry: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Kershaw: No Weekend Hours
Lexington: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Orangeburg: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Richland: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Spartanburg: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Sumter: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Sunday: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
Union: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Williamsburg: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
York: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Deadline to vote absentee in person: 5:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3rd
Deadline to return mail-in absentee ballot: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 4th
(voter must already have a mail-in ballot)
