West Columbia, SC -- A suspect wanted in connection to a recent vehicle break-in has been arrested.

Brian Pearson turned himself into West Columbia Police Friday afternoon.  Pearson is charged with breaking into a motor vehicle and petit larceny.

The suspect is accused of breaking into a car and stealing a purse in August.  Several other motor vehicle break-ins are currently being investigated and Pearson may face additional charges.

Pearson is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center where he awaits a bond hearing.
