GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a Greenville couple charged with murder in the death of a woman whose severed hands and feet were found in bags are expected to appear in court.
The Greenville News reports that prosecutors will make their case Wednesday against Clarence and Carman Jenkins. They were charged earlier this year with murder in the death of 34-year-old Mekole Harris.
Prosecutors say the couple placed trash bags containing Harris' severed hands and feet in front of homes to frighten a woman into paying them $10,000.
Harris is presumed dead, but authorities continue to look for more of her remains.
