COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A rare Ferrari made a pit stop in Columbia Friday morning at the Ronald McDonald House.

The Ferrari 599GTB-HGTE is one of the last of the 599 produced; its custom designed, inside and out.

Usualluy, it can only be seen on the “50 Anni di Passione” tour, but the Italian sports car is making a 20,000-mile journey to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari Club of America.

The rare Ferrari is only stopping in specially selected cities to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Friday morning, parents, friends, and patients staying a the Columbia Ronald McDonald House got a up close look at the custom designed sports car.
