RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) -- A late night fire has caused $400,000 worth of damage.

The Columbia Fire Department responded to the fire at a two story home on Lakeshore Dr around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The fire lasted until almost 1 p.m. Sunday due to exterior structural concerns and limited access to the home.

CFD Spokesman Brick Lewis said the homeowner was not home when the fire occurred and that there were no injuries. The cause is being investigated by the Richland County Fire Marshal's Office.
