LEXINGTON,SC (WACH)-  A local community helping to Make-A-Wish come true for a less fortunate person.

Back in December, WACH Fox News brought you the story about the Hite family of Lexington and their elaborate light display, which they used to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish foundation.  The Hite's display solicited donations for the Make-A-Wish foundation.  Friday on Good Day Columbia, the Hite clan presented the community's  donations to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

This year, the display raised $2300 for the foundation.  Mary Silverberg from Make-A-Wish came to the WACH studios to accept the donation.

Marcy Hite wants to make things perfectly clear.  This is not a donation from the Hite family.  It's a donation from all of you who made donations at the Hite's Christmas display.

Watch the story in the link below to see how the display was built.
