MULLINS, S.C. (AP) -- Marion County sheriff's deputies say a man has been shot to death near Mullins.
Deputies were called to a home early Sunday and found 22-year-old Joseph Blake Dozier. They say Dozier had been shot once in the head.
Deputies have arrested 23-year-old Chad Nelson Strickland of Nichols and charge him with murder, possession of a gun during a violent crime and pointing a gun.
There was no immediate word on a motive in the shooting.
Strickland is being held at the Marion County jail. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.
