ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) - Orangeburg County Sheriff Leory Ravenell has released a picture of a person of interest in a recent Orangeburg shooting.

The shooting happened on Maedrine Street on September 10 and one male victim was shot and later died. A second person was injured.

According to Ravenell, the man could have information about the shooting.

Ravenell says the person of interest has ties to the Bowman area and goes by the nickname Ra-Ra.

Authorities believe the man went to an out-of-town hospital and used a fake name to receive treatment for a gunshot wound to his left arm.

Anyone with information on this man's identity and location should contact CrimeStoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
