Coroner investigates a deadly motorcycle accident

Lexington, SC (WACH)--The Lexington County Coroner's office is investigating a deadly motorcycle accident.

It happened around 1:30 Saturday morning in the 6100 block of Edmund Highway.

According to Coroner Harry O. Harman, Lexington man Kenneth Harris, 45 was killed when his motorcycle ran into the rear of a pick-up truck. 

The coroner reported that Harris was pronounced dead at the scene from head and body trauma.

The accident is under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner's office, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
