ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) - Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says investigators believe a bad crack cocaine purchase lead to multiple shootings.

Authorities say a shooting that occurred on Maedrine Street Monday night in Orangeburg is believed to be the result of someone purchasing bad crack cocaine, then returning where they made the purchase to rob the dealer. Two men were shot.

Ravenell says Rodney Jermaine Glover, 28, is believed to have been looking for the person responsible for the Monday shooting Tuesday night.

Deputies say Glover is accused of going to a home on Banashee Circle and presenting a weapon as he approached two women while making inquiries about the driver of a vehicle that was similar to a vehicle seen during the Monday shooting.

According to Ravenell, Glover fired at the women, striking one. He also fired into a home, striking the male victim multiple times.

Ravenell says Glover was arrested Thursday in the shooting of a 33-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman on Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. He is charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

“When criminals seek revenge in illegal acts, innocent people are always injured in the process. Let me be clear, we will conduct our investigations using all available resources, we will hunt you down. To Johnson or anyone else that might be hiding him, it is in your best interest to turn yourself in," said Ravenell

Ravenell says 24-year-old Terrance Shawan Johnson is still wanted in the Monday night shooting on Maedrine Street
