COLUMBIA (WACH)--A Midlands Islamic Leader shared his thoughts about the worldwide violence that has broken out world wide stemming from a controversial movie.

Chaudhry Sadiq is a Columbia native and he is outraged about the attack on the US Embassy.

"The result of this unfortunate, this tragic creation of a film or a movie of a piece of art whatever has happened, there is no justification" said Sadiq.

As President of PICNA an organization that strives for peace and integration among cultures Sadiq says that violence is not a part of the Islamic Culture.

"It is absolutely prohibited in Islam to respond to something wrong with an act of violence with anything negative" said Sadiq.  "We know in logic that two wrongs do not make a right."
