COLUMBIA (WACH)--Zinah Jennings, the mother on trial for the disappearance of her son Amir, gave birth to her second child Friday morning.

Both Zinah and the child are in good condition at Palmetto Health Richland.

Jennings was taken to the hospital Thursday night, day four of the trial. The trial will resume Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Jennings is on trial for unlawful conduct toward a child. Her son was 18 months old when he was last seen around Thanksgiving.
