COLUMBIA (WACH) - A news conference has been scheduled to discuss where the case of missing 15-year-old Gabbiee Swainson stands, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

The conference will be held by the sheriff's department and authorities with the  FBI on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

No details on what will be discussed have been released.

Elvia Swainson says she last saw her daughter Gabbiee asleep in her bed early last Saturday morning.

The single mother reported Gabbiee missing to the Richland County Sheriff's Department and they sent an investigator to the family's Northeast Columbia home.

Sheriff Leon Lott released information last week saying a preliminary investigation showed no signs of foul play, but further investigation into Gabbie's disappearance did not appear to be a typical runaway case.
