COLUMBIA (WACH) - Traffic continues to be tied up on Assembly Street after a 6-inch water main break near Dreyfuss Road on Tuesday.

The City of Columbia says Assembly Street will remain closed through Friday, Aug. 10. City staff are met Wednesday to discuss road repairs.

The break closed all outbound lanes (South) on Assembly Street from Whaley Street to Ferguson Street. Traffic will be detoured from Whaley Street to Olympia Avenue.

The water main break also prompted a boil water advisory, which was lifted Thursday, Aug. 9.

The City of Columbia's Water Maintenance Division is working to repair the main.

Traffic will be accessible for the Wednesday nigth baseball game at the Capital city Stadium via Assembly Street and Dreyfuss Road.

All other traffic will be detoured from Whaley Street to Olympia Avenue.
