FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SC (WACH)- The discovery of a marijuana field near Winnsboro has lead to a manhunt.
Fairfield County Chief Deputy Keith Lewis tells WACH-FOX News investigators with the State Law Enforcement Division were conducting an aerial search in the county. SLED discovered an illicit marijuana growing operation. The suspected grower of the plants ran away from the scene. Right now, agents with SLED, the Department of Natural Resources and The Fairfield County Sheriff's Department are searching for the suspect.
