DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WACH) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has cancelled an Amber Alert issued for a 2-year-old girl who has been located.

SLED announced Haley Renae Briggs was located just after 1 p.m. Thursday. Megan Briggs has been arrested.

Authorities say Haley Renae Briggs was last seen at 122 High Bridge Road in Summerville, which is the residence of those who have custody of the child.

Captain John Rogers with the Summerville Police Department says Megan Briggs is Haley Briggs' mother, but she does not have custody of the child. Megan Briggs is facing charges for first-degree burglary, kidnapping and grand larceny.
