DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WACH) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old girl last seen in Summerville.

Authorities say Haley Renae Briggs was last seen at 122 High Bridge Road in Summerville, which is the residence of those who have custody of the child.

Briggs is described as a 2-year-old girl around 3-feet tall who weighs approximately 33 pounds and has brown culry hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a USA shirt and red pajama pants when she was last seen.

SLED believes the child may be 19-year-old Megan Marie Briggs. Megan Briggs is described as being approximately 5-foot-4, has brown hair, blue eyes, and weighs around 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and white pants. Megan Briggs could be traveling in a four-door 2003 gold Buick Century with South Carolina license plate EQG-113. The vehicle has a "Carolina Girl" front plate and a Sharpneck AutoSales license frame.

Captain John Rogers with the Summerville Police Department says Megan Briggs is Haley Briggs' mother, but she does not have custody of the child. Megan Briggs is wanted for first-degree burglary, kidnapping and grand larceny.
