COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina's primary season is coming to an end with a handful of runoffs.

The biggest race on Tuesday is in the state's new 7th Congressional District, where there are both Republican and Democratic runoffs.

The GOP race matches former Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer and Horry County Council Chairman Tom Rice. Bauer won the voting June 12 with 32 percent of the vote, while Rice received 27 percent.

On the Democratic side, Coastal Carolina University professor Gloria Bromell Tinubu will try to secure the nomination again. The state Election Commission declared Bromell Tinubu the winner, but a judge ruled the commission counted the votes wrong and put her in a runoff with lawyer Preston Brittain.

Three legislative races in Sumter, Greenville and Fairfield counties are also in a runoff.
