New suspect in May pharmacy robbery

The Lexington Police Department continues to seek the public’s assistance in identifying persons believed to be involved in the armed robbery of a local pharmacy back on May 13.

Lexington, SC (WACH)– Lexington Police have released are seeking information about another person of interest in a May 13 pharmacy robbery.

At approximately 10:33 pm on May 13, 2012, the suspect entered the CVS at 5608 Sunset Boulevard and approached the pharmacy counter.  During the robbery, the suspect presented a firearm and demanded prescription narcotics.  He is described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 6’2” and 170lbs.  The subject had a plaid book bag and was wearing an olive colored baseball cap with an unknown logo.  After obtaining the narcotics he exited the store and it is believed got into a white 4-door sedan, possibly a 1990-1996 Pontiac Grand Prix, being driven by another unknown white male.

Investigation since the  time has revealed a second male subject who was present in the CVS during the robbery.  Investigators are attempting to identify this individual for further questioning and he is only a person of interest at this time.  This person is a white male, believed to be in his 20’s, medium build with shaved dark hair
