WEST COLUMBIA (WACH) - A suspect involved in a convenience store robbery is wanted by the West Columbia Police Department.

Chief Dennis K. Tyndall says a man entered the Hess Station on Sunset Boulevard, grabbed money from the cash register as it opened and ran away around 8 p.m. on May 29.

The suspect is described by the department as a man around 40 years old who is between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot one.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 803-794-0721 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
