GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a 21-year-old convicted sex offender charged with kidnapping a 7-year-old is now facing more charges.
Police say Clayton Jones has also been charged with lewd act on a child under 16 and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Jones was arrested in last month. Investigators said a mother frantically searching for her daughter says she knocked on Jones' door, and he said the girl wasn't there. But the mom then saw her daughter walking around the apartment wearing a blond wig and makeup. Police say they also found child porn on Jones' home computer.
Jones was convicted of indecent liberties with an 8-year-old child in Transylvania County, N.C.
He was being held in jail Wednesday. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
